Amid the COVID-19 emergency, Ventura Regional Sanitation District remains fully operational to meet the solid waste and water/wastewater needs of our customers

Environmentally Safe
Solid Waste Disposal

VRSD owns and operates the Toland Road Landfill, located off Highway 126 between Santa Paula and Fillmore. Since 1972 we have ensured the safe and effective disposal of municipal solid waste from cities throughout Ventura County. Our employees have more than 250 years of collective experience at the landfill, which enables them to efficiently and cost-effectively manage the daily disposal of up to 1,500 tons of waste, six days a week.

Reliable Water Supply
& Wastewater Treatment

Our experienced, state-certified professionals are trained to provide a full range of water supply and wastewater treatment services, from full operation and maintenance of supply and treatment facilities to individual services such as sewer line inspection and cleaning, groundwater monitoring, and water quality assurance, among many others. We custom-tailor our services to the specific needs of our customers, and we have years of experience providing creative solutions to unique challenges.

VRSD is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors composed of representatives from member agencies. Learn more.

Due to the COVID-19 emergency, Board meetings are being held by video conference. See the upcoming meeting agenda for instructions on how to join the video conference.
