VRSD owns and operates the Toland Road Landfill, located off Highway 126 between Santa Paula and Fillmore. Since 1972 we have ensured the safe and effective disposal of municipal solid waste from cities throughout Ventura County.

Our experienced, state-certified professionals are trained to provide a full range of water supply and wastewater treatment services, from full operation and maintenance of supply and treatment facilities to individual services such as sewer line inspection and cleaning, groundwater monitoring, and water quality assurance, among many others. We custom-tailor our services to the specific needs of our customers, and we have years of experience providing creative solutions to unique challenges.

Who We Serve

We serve the daily sanitation needs of more than 600,000 residents in Camarillo, Fillmore, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, and unincorporated areas of the County, as well as a variety of special districts, including water supply and wastewater treatment agencies, all of which are members of the Ventura County Special Districts Association. We also serve a number of educational institutions and other private-sector organizations.

VRSD Board Meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month, and the Personnel and Finance Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings of other standing committees are held as needed. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. at 4105 W. Gonzales Road, Oxnard, CA.
