Public Records Request
Pursuant to the Public Records Act (Government Code Section 6250, et seq.), a person may request to review and/or receive a copy of any public record unless it is clearly exempt under applicable laws, or the public interest served by not making the record public clearly outweighs the public interest served by disclosure of the record. A request is considered to be received during regular business hours (between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm) on a regular business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and flex Friday closures). Upon receipt of a request for Ventura Regional Sanitation District records, the District will determine within ten (10) days if the records are public and available within the District's records and notify the requestor of such determination. Requests that are not exempt from disclosure that require research, retrieval, and reproduction will be provided at the earliest possible date.
Please note than any marketing solicitations, or requests that are not deemed to be a public records request, will not receive a response, as that is not the purpose of this form.
